Issue:

One of the agency's departments tasked me with reimagining the retirement letters sent to employees leaving the service. They were looking for something that didn't feel like a form letter, but something with more personalization and more emotion.

Goal:

To rewrite the retirement letters, adding more emotion and personalization to them rather than it seeming like a rote form one.

Solution:

I have a knack for writing that combines humor, heart and feeling. What I was looking for was to make something impactful, something that a person would frame on their wall proudly, reminding them of the good work they did as a federal worker. I succeeded in creating a letter that could be used over and over again and yet feel fresh.
