TXO in the Know August 2024

Internal Revenue Service, Taxpayer Experience Office (TXO) - August 01, 2024

Goal:

Deliver a monthly newsletter highlighting stories from both around the Taxpayer Experience Office and the IRS at large.

Solution:

Within two months of joining the IRS, I was given the responsibility of being Editor-in-Chief of TXO in the Know. I've had a lot of prior newsletter experience before, but up until then I'd only managed them by myself. This was my first time leading a team, which was composed of 12 people from across the various TXO branches. I reimagined the newsletter, creating this template in Microsoft Word. I also created process documentation for running it, which you can see in my profile.
